Can I see a psychiatrist online in New York?
Yes. Our psychiatrist is licensed as a physician in New York and sees patients by secure video. You need to be physically located in New York or Pennsylvania during each visit, with a private space, a steady internet connection and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera.
Is the psychiatrist accepting new patients in New York?
He is open to new patients and referrals. Send us a message or call, say you are in New York and interested in psychiatry, and we will explain the next steps, including appointments, fees and coverage for your plan.
Can I also see a therapist with you in New York?
Not at the moment. Our therapists see clients located in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Arizona, Colorado and Florida, not New York. In New York we offer psychiatry and medication management. If you have a therapist already, our psychiatrist can coordinate with them with your permission.
Does insurance cover psychiatry visits in New York?
Ask us before your first visit. Coverage depends on your plan, and we have not listed New York plans on this site. We can tell you what applies to you when you reach out.
How do I check a New York physician's license?
The New York State Education Department Office of the Professions has a public verification search on its website. You can look up a physician by name or license number. His license details are on his profile on this site.
