Does Locascio Wellness offer online therapy in Florida?
Yes. Locascio Wellness is an all-virtual practice that sees clients who are physically located in Florida during their sessions. You meet with a therapist licensed in Florida by secure video.
Do I have to live in Florida to be seen?
You need to be physically in Florida, or in one of the other states we serve, at the time of each session, because therapists are licensed state by state. If you travel or move, tell your therapist so we can make sure your sessions stay covered.
Does online therapy in Florida take insurance?
For clients in Florida we are in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and UnitedHealthcare, including their related plans. Which plans apply depends on your specific plan, so we verify your Florida coverage before your first session. Self-pay is also available. We do not accept Medicaid.
Will appointment times show in my Florida time zone?
Yes. When you sign up to book online, you choose your time zone, and the calendar converts appointment times to your local time. If you travel to another time zone, keep that in mind when you join a session.
Do you offer psychological evaluations in Florida?
Not at the moment. Our psychological evaluations are offered to people located in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Arizona. Therapy by video is available in Florida, and you are welcome to ask us about evaluations when you call.
How do I know my therapist is licensed in Florida?
